Description

Profhilo H+L is an advanced biorevitalization treatment developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical company IBSA. It is formulated as a patented gel-based physiological solution combining high-molecular-weight (H-HA) and low-molecular-weight (L-HA) hyaluronic acid produced through biofermentation without chemical modification. This unique hybrid complex provides both deep dermal hydration and a visible lifting effect.

Profhilo H+L is indicated for:
age-related skin changes associated with dehydration and collagen/elastin degradation;
skin depressions and scarring, including post-acne scars and marks left after chickenpox.

By combining hydrating and regenerative properties, the treatment helps restore optimal levels of endogenous hyaluronic acid, improves skin hydration balance, and counteracts chrono- and photoaging. A full treatment course visibly smooths wrinkles and improves the appearance of scars.

Injection Technique
Unlike traditional biorevitalization, Profhilo is administered using a bolus technique in only 10 specific bio-aesthetic points (five on each side of the face). When injected correctly into the dermis, hyaluronic acid is delivered directly to targeted tissues, helping protect fibroblasts from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

The non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid is synthesized from natural bacterial sources (streptococcus strains) without chemical cross-linking, ensuring excellent biocompatibility and minimal risk of immune response.
