First, the traditional synthesis of the gel occurs by chemical biofermentation from bacterial culture and subsequent linearization and classical stabilization with the addition of the BDDE agent. As a result, a monophasic gel of hyaluronic acid is created, which has already become a classic. Merz Pharma specialists, having studied the properties of the drug in detail, went further, performing the dilution of the already cross-linked polymer and its re-stabilization according to the principle of a polydensified cohesive matrix. This method made it possible to obtain not just a gel with a monophasic structure, but a filler with different density and viscosity areas, which is ideal for filling cavities of even miniature sizes and provides a prolonged result.

Getting into the upper or middle layer of the dermis, the gel forms a space between its fibers. The denser part of the drug fills this space, restoring the tissues, and the less dense remnants of the drug penetrate into the adjacent intradermal depressions, smoothing and leveling the skin with a lifting effect. Due to such soft transitions, the cosmetic result looks very natural.
